I’ve been preparing myself for this year’s National Tea Day by drinking all the tea I can. From good old English Breakfast tea to more modern flavour creations and from loose leaf tea to fancy tea pyramids I tried it all! Below are the teas that I thought were most TEA-rrific.
Clipper Skinni Vanilli Organic Infusion – A strawberry flavoured infusing with vanilla perfect for tea lovers with a sweet tooth. I loved this as an after dinner settler and it certainly curbed my cravings for pudding.
Drink Me Chai Vanilla Chai Latte – Before I talk about how good this tastes I must mention that this tea is 99% caffeine free and low in calories too. Chai is black tea that is sweetened and flavoured with spices and this blend with vanilla, spices and skimmed milk can be made up with hot water or milk or even sprinkled over porridge! I love how decedent this tastes and I’m now a Chai convert.
Stokes Lady Jo Blend – A unique Stokes creation, this is a tea I am officially in love with. A classic Earl Grey with added notes of lavender and vanilla. For lovers of loose tea Stokes is the place to go.
English Tea Shop Slim Me Tea – This is part of the English Tea Shop’s Wellness range. It’s a green tea with hints of Cinnamon, ginger and Acai berry and it has natural slimming and metabolism boosting properties.
Tetley Indulgence Cookies and Cream – Another ones for those with a sweet tooth! This sweet, almost caramel in flavour tea can be drunk with our without milk and stands true to its name. Indulgent! The Chocolate Mint tea in the range is also worth mentioning for mint tea fanatics!
Newby English Breakfast – I stumbled across Newby Tea when I picked up on their awesome lifestyle blog, and I decided to try out some of their English Breakfast Tea. I never thought of myself as a tea snob but it turns out I totally am, if you want to try something a little out of the ordinary put down your brew and try Newby. Warm, robust and malty I loved this cup.
