Once again I must apologise for the punny title – but it got your attention didn’t it? Last night I bought you my Top Foodie Father’s Day gifts but tonight it’s all about beer! Dad’s love beer and ever since I’ve been old enough to buy my own gifts for my Dad I’ve played it safe with a couple of bottles. I gave my Dad the hard choice of picking some of his favourites from ones we have recently tried and here’s what he picked… hopefully your Dad will like them too!
Meantime London Porter – My Dad likes to drink this complex, dark beer with a mature cheddar and onion sarnie! It’s sweet, malty and fruity. Presented in a corked bottle it has somewhat of a luxury feel about it. A great gift!
Acre #637 Cider – Okay, so this isn’t beer, but some Dads like a sweeter tipple! Made from rare apples it’s just so super yummy! (My fave!)
Bombardier Burning Gold – My Dad LOVES golden ale and if your dad does too then this is a beer for him. It’s light, crisp and a little sweet – a classic!
Best of British Beer gift set – Best of British Beer is the go to place to discover the best of what this nation has to offer! My Dad loves this site, as they don’t supply mass produced beers. This set contains three bottles from some of the countries top breweries.
Bombardier English – Another Bombardier! This classis bottle is a little more malty and hoppy than its golden brother but just as soft and smooth!
What are your Dad’s favourite beers? Or perhaps yours? Let me know below!
