With spring just around the corner my mind is firmly set on fruity cocktails and finding a way to get some sun. With booze on my mind I have put together 4 perfect springtime refreshers each made with my favourite premium vodka from the bar, Ciroc!
My apologies in advance for posting this mid week because you’re going to wish it was the weekend already!
Tape’s A Song By The Bangles
This decadent cocktail is available in Tape London and was recently mentioned in British Vogue. I think it’s safe to say that it fit the best!
- 50ml vodka
- 30ml egg white
- 25ml lemon juice
- 3 dashes grapefruit bitters
- Dash of absinthe
1.Put the Ciroc, egg white, lemon juice and grapefruit bitters in a cocktail shaker.
2.Shake well before adding ice and shaking again.
3.Pour into a cooled glass.
Feeling brave? Hover a teaspoon over the cocktail (just touching the surface) and gently pour a small amount of absinthe over the back of the spoon…Set alight the cocktail and serve.
If you like sweet yet sour then this is the cocktail for you!
- 200ml Ciroc Apple
- 50ml lemon juice
- 50ml Part simple syrup (why not add a little green food colouring to make your drink pop?)
- 1 Piece of apple
1.Add the ingredients into a cold cocktail shaker.
2.Shake vigorously and serve! Garnish with apple slices.
Boozy Blueberry Lemonade
Lemonade is once of the most refreshing spring time drinks, so why not spice it up with Ciroc!
- Mint leaves to taste
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 150g blueberries
- 240ml Ciroc Vodka
- Ice – as much or as little as you like
- 480ml Lemonade (homemade or store bought)
1.Place the mint leaves, sugar and blueberries in a cocktail shaker. Muddle mixture with the end of a wooden spoon until blueberries are broken.
2.Add the vodka and ice; shake for 30 seconds.
3.Divide mixture between glasses ( the number of glasses depend on how boozy you like it!). Top with each with lemonade.
4.Garnish with blueberries and lemon slices.
Strawberry Vodka Martini
Mouthwateringly fruity and perfect for parties!
- 1 splash dry vermouth
- 2 handfuls ripe strawberries , hulled
- 1 sprig fresh mint , leaves picked
- 2 handfuls ice cubes
- 150 ml Ciroc
1.Put a few drops of dry vermouth into each of two martini glasses and swirl it around.
Tip: freeze you glasses before hand so they are frozen and hold the vermouth well!
2.Throw the strawberries and the mint into a cold cocktail shaker and squash them with the end of a wooden spoon.
3.Add the ice cubes and the Ciroc, put the top on and shake it about
4.Strain into your two martini glasses.
